A great late afternoons flying in good Combe Gibbet conditions giving me over 2 hours flying.

My first flight at a relatively new site for the Thames Valley Hang Gliding Club.
Althought there was a restriction in place about the number of pilots to fly at one time (5) at one point there were around 12 pilots in the air. The site and the conditions meant that even with that number flying there was plenty of room and it did not seem crowded at all. Although thermic, I don’t think anyone got away from the hill as the thermals were small or broken and whilst providing enough lift to make it enjoyable would not give the height for an easy XC. Flew for over 3 hours on a single flight though so a great day.
