This round of the BCC and Cemmaes was cancelled due to strong winds. I flew at the site anyway and although it was strong on take off, once away from the hill it was very flyable. 1 1/2 hours and about 1700ft above take off.
7th August 2005
Another round of the BCC but at Builth Wells. The goal was Abergavenny. I got into blue space and struggled to get further. I managed to soar some trees in a park for a while but that was the end point I couldn’t get any further. Just managed 16km and but very enjoyable never the less with 4500 ft.

A very nice 28km from Combe Gibbet with just over4 grand of height.
